You could try Damn Small Linux.

It's a full Linux distro in just 50 megs. Contains lots of goodies even though it's so small Smile

Socket 754 is on its way out. With Socket 939, you'll still have a few years of upgradeability.

And s939 CPUs and Mobos aren't that much more expensive nowadays anyway.

I have Norton Antivirus 2001 installed. I run a virus scan maybe once every two months or something.

I hate real-time virus scanning programs ...
