let me add, that if you just send me one dis image and i can successfully find targa files somewhere in there then i'll just write a little program that i can send you to hopefully get more targas off ... |

As most know I have an old Futura 100 (aka Innovion PGS-III) photography system.
I need a non-manual way of reading the photo data on the floppies this system makes for backup purposes to a normal ... |

I tried running one of the examples and it just went to a blank screen and crashed when I tried that.
Didn't have any syntax errors though... hmm...
you've gotta have a packet driver for your n ... |

Proably very slow but would'nt it be possible to emulate mmx in some way ?
or is it strictly hardware ?
it's strictly hardware. MMX is a set of opcodes built into the CPU. |

i've been writing a DOS IRC client if anybody needs one! needs a packet driver. also requires at least a CGA card, since it uses color and directly accesses B800h to write video data. let me know how ... |

hmm, that's pretty interesting... so there's no real reason a 486 can't run it? i always assumed it used some 586+ only opcodes. im gonna have to try that on my 486 DX2/100 with 64 MB of ram. it'll be ... |

i've actually gotten my old creative labs 2x cd-rom drive working in my XT. i hooked it up to the old sound blaster pro v2 card it came with, ran MSCDEX and had no problems. (it's slower than @#$@ but ... |
