I think Solaris 10 is the last version. When Oracle bought Sun they basically just let it die. There is an open source fork called OpenIndiana though, based on OpenSolaris.

I have an XT-IDE card I'm using in my 5160 but mine doesn't have slot 8 support. There is an extra circuit board you need to install on the card for it to work in that slot.

Is it for sure the power supply and not a shorted tantalum cap on the motherboard? The power supply has a safety feature where it will not do anything if there is a short anywhere in the system. |

Yes, I wasn't using anything in Slot 8. All I can figure is maybe it was an old cap on the card that shorted. |
