i have searhed on several people finders to find my neice and nephew
I have it pinned down to a certain town but cannot get a phone number.
are there any REAL people finders out there
seems some are hard to find, others are easy to locate.

i see the name(s) and part of the address.
but thet's all.
everynody else wants $7.95

Directory assistance? You still have to pay, but it's not quite $8.

You can try phone book searches since you have a name and town, I'm not guaranteeing anything.

Sometimes you get lucky if you search for their name and town in a regular search engine.

www.switchboard.com is a good online phonebook. just enter the last name, zip code and state and it|ll give you all the matches. to decrease the number of matches, you can also specify a first name.

did you ever find a good people finding service? I need one too, though my problem is a little more difficult.

my wife and i wrote an article for the acgnj news a few years ago.
many of the sites have changed or gone commercial.

I may have to actually write or talk to the postmaster in that town..
same with a "possibly related"
namesake" in shrewsbury nj.
if interested i can possibly point to an olnice site where the old article is located
