I just bought something strange on eBay the other day. It is a Number Nine "Ticket to Ride" graphics adapter for the ISA bus?!?!?! You know, I've done quite a lot of reading on the internets and I can't find anything about this card whatsoever. Infact, a lot of sites claim this card was for the PCI bus only. Have any of you guys heard of this thing? Apparently the ones for the PCI bus are 128-bit.

can you provide a picture or a link to the auction? It would be cool to see that thing.

You know, after looking around I am quite sure that this card is not a 128-bit adapter. I've seen the LSI and it's quite large. This adapter uses one of the old S3 logos, meaning it's probably an S3 928. I think that this card is likely a 4MB model, which still makes it quite a good buy. Infact, it's my only 4MB ISA adapter (unless you count my ELSA Twinbus card). There are 10 chips that look like memory modules, and you might notice the two chips on the end are slightly different looking. I suppose it must have 1MB DRAM for DOS modes.

I figured it out. It's actually nothing special. It's a #9GXE Lite. So, it must be a 2MB card with a 1MB DRAM cache.
