A tip for anyone looking for drivers or information:
Many manufacturers use the same chips in building their products. You can sometimes find things that "don't exist" for the chipset rather than looking by model.
Many older pieces of hardware sometimes don't have their manufacturer's model number on them, but they will have the numbers you need on the chip. I usually start by looking for the biggest chip and searching for the highest number on the chip case. It's usually under the manufacturer's name.
I just found Mac drivers for an "unsupported" wireless card. Gotta see if the card works with the driver tomorrow. : - ) |
