I have noticed that some spyware likes to put itself is a hidden folder. A folder so hidden that if you select unhide hidden folders and files it still remains hidden.

What I need is a program that I can use that can show everything on the hard drive. Is there such a program? Windows Exploder really sucks.

Try opening a command line and typing "dir /a:h /a:s"

Windows hides files marked system. You can turn it on by using "Show protected operating system files."

Hijack This is great for looking for registry entries. BEWARE! Don't delete anything unless you know its junk

One more note:

The attrib command will show everything in a directory. If you have A SH set (Archive, System, Hidden) the files will show (if you're showing hidden files), but if you unset archive, they won't. Just figured that out.
