Flakey ram slots (aka bad solder joints), my lousy FIC slot A has (3) bad dimm slots, if the machine gets really cold (aka I drive it somewhere) many times it won't boot and the "good" ram slot moves to another place. I used to have 2 of the (3) as good now only (1) works all the time (though which one is random). With one other working sometimes, other times causing the machine to fail post.

In all my time I've only had one bad dimm

Good Luck
