Well, it's not a reason to dislike Microsoft as much as it is reason to dislike the patent process. There's nothing in the patent to indicate it's for a new device or an innovative idea at all. |

This might well tie into something I was reading about last year.
Microsoft has made several unsucessfull attempts to remove keys from keyboards and wants to change the type of keys on the keyboard fundamentally.
Not really sure why but microsoft likes to meddle in things that aren't broken. |
