I often boot from a floppy and when I start xtree, it grinds as it loads "comman.com"
how can I put in a line so it r looks for comman.com on the c: drive. ? usually the same version is on the floppy and the hard drive. |

Is there room for the comman.com (com port manager?) file on the disk? Sometimes it's just easier to copy the file where the program expects it to be. |

I make up a boot floppy ( win 98 dos)
and run xtree from the floppy
it grinds as it loads, i believe , command com
how could I tell it to use the command, com on the c": drive
there is a command.com on the floppy but I would prefer to redirect it to the c: drive. |

Wasn't there something like set shell=command.com that you can place in config.sys or autoexec.bat? |
