Intel 8/16 Lan Adapter at my local used goods store.
Is this the fabled lan adapter that will function in 8-bit OR 16-bit slots?

Also picked up a longshine vg-7000 dual head all video mode card
9pin and 15pin plugs, was this a good find?

And an adaptec AHA 1524B
internal and external scsi connectors AND floppy interface

And a Creative CT6000 Video Blaster, i CAN'T find anything on this one, just some vague references that it won't function with more than 8mb ram installed, one of the copper traces is exposed, but nothing is disconnected or burnt out. I know it's rare, but is it good for anything? Can i pair it with the longshine card? It's also got 2 audio plugs....

The Intel 8/16 LAN card is a good one. It will work in 8-bit ISA slots. I use one of these in my XT. As far as I know, all intel ISA ethernet cards will work in an 8-bit slot.

The video adapter sounds interesting too. Most of these seem to work in 8-bit slots as well. Does it use the Tseng ET3000AX chipset by any chance. These cards are convenient since you can use EGA or VGA display without having to open up the computer to swap cards out.

The 1542B probably won't be very useful. It will not work in an XT. If you want to use this card in a 16-bit slot, you are better to get the 1542CF or CP. They are much newer and fixed a number of bugs.

I don't know much about video blaster. It's probably pretty useless. As far as I know it will only work with windows 3.1.

I figgered as much, the vg-7000 is powered by oak technologies, it's really fast in the xt actually. AND the diagnostics diskette actually doesn't bomb out with an error code when it's set to cga/mda/ega/hercules. I like the vid card rather immensly
