New problem, New confusion

I have 3 scsi cards all 8-bit, i am trying to add a cd-rom to my XT, i have solved the memory problem aswell, found a different program for that.

Future Domain TMC-850MEX: future domain driver refuses to see it, and i don't have an apple cd-rom drive to go with it

Future Domain TMC-840/841: future domain driver won't acknowledge it's existance

Storage Dynamics SDi-T1008 Half Pint: can't find jack on the internet for it, but it has a bios, no help for a cd-rom

And the humdinger i think
a parallel port Backpack cd-rewriter, i have drivers but they won't see that either, i think that may be because the parallel port on the sixpack premium isn't bi-directional or i'm using the wrong drivers..

How do i get any of these working? i have read several other threads and the solutions don't work

With those future domain cards, are you loading the ASPI and ASPICD drivers?

ya, i finally got the future domain 850mex working, i figured out that you had to have something plugged in for it to work that problem has been fixed, but the drivers are a memory hog, especially with mscdex loaded. That's why i want the parallel port to work, but that's another whole ball of wax

Once you get QRAM installed, the memory hogging drivers won't be an issue.
