It's probably one or more of those surface mount resistors that needs to be added/removed to tell the card what type of memory is installed. |

I was about to suggest you put it out with the peeled vegatables and empty milk cartons and egg shells.

yea, ive ran out of resources, guess this one goes into the drawer of dispare... well ebay dosen't seem to have the mach 64 version im looking for thats under 100 dollars, theres a new mach 32 for 25$ but i dont think its worth it as i got a video card with 2mb already. gota keep my eyes out for reasonable priced 4mb isa video cards, not to many. will hang onto the mem upgrade board tho, these are probly more rarer than the card itsself |

I have both a Mach32 and a Mach64 in PCI that I have listed in the buy-sell-trade section.
Maybe you can use parts off of one of them? Lord knows I'm selling them cheap enough and you know this thing's already moved into that doing it for the sake of doing it zone.

That Mach32 is pretty interesting. They're pretty rare to see as PCI cards. I think it must have been one of the first PCI cards ever made. |

intresting discovery, seems like the board is shorted, i stuck it in a hp vetra 486 and the machine wont even power up. removed the board and it ran just fine, ran a multimeter across the last and 3rd last pin on the bottom side(the power input of the isa bus) and it apeared shorted, so i desolders the dac, vpu, memory, bios and a few capacitors and its still shorted , so the board is definitly fubared, i cant seem to locate any shorts or solder bridges, is the video card multilared? either way i give up, and i still havent found a decent isa mach 64 yet |
