I'm posting from a Sun SPARCstation running Solaris 2.6 and the Hotjava browser. Well actually QEMU since I don't have a real one.
I would have loved to have a system like this back in the day instead of Windows 95 but who could afford it? Not me!
I hope this posts ok, it is really slow and glitchy. This is one of the few sites I could get to load at all since it doesn't require https.

Would be tempted to run it natively on an X86 machine. Anywhere on the web that describes the last version to run on x86 (not x64) hardware? Last version I can find is Solaris 10. Would love to find an older version to slap onto an (approx) 1GHz PIII. I've pretty much tired out on most lite Linux distros.... |

I think Solaris 10 is the last version. When Oracle bought Sun they basically just let it die. There is an open source fork called OpenIndiana though, based on OpenSolaris.
