I can CCFORMAT D: /S successfully, and read the disks on other PC's.

However, I cannot DIR or copy files to drive D:

PCDOS 7, DRDOS 6 & MSDOS 622 display "no files" i.e. an empty disk.

When I try and write, they report disk full.

I do not understand how I can CCFORMAT /S and not DIR?

I am using the NOROM option.

many yeard ago dos 3,10 or later. the 386025 was the toip pc.
it uses a driver so no bios on the card.
My memories are not sharp. do you have a manual or info describing the drivers in configh,sys/
remeber dos 6.22 had a 2038 ( 2g likit) with win 311 running under dos 3.11 I used 4gb drives with 2-02g partitions. I never at that timnehad a larger drive.
this applies to IDE. mfm/rll drives topped out aT 80MFM AND 140?> RLL.
ESDI DRIVES TOPPED OUT AT 660 BUT THE PARTITION SIZE LIMIT WAS TH DOS VERSION.
i know A COMPATICARD IT A FLOPPY-ONLY CARD,. BUT ARE THE HARD DIVES CONFIGURED PROPERLY/
DO THEY WORK WITH THGE at ( IBM 286 AT) 1,2 M FLOPPY?
