I finally was able to find a game I'd been looking for for ages, called Vtrek. The trouble is that running it on the only computer I have, with XP, seems to give it trouble. It's a dos game that looks to be writen in basic when I play it on the XP computer the screen flickers at the top and the monitor blanks out aftera couple minutes, while also locking up the computer. I tried lowering my video settings but it still doesnt want to work. Any suggestions. I also have it running in windows 95 compat. mode and that doesnt seem to make a difference either.

Have you tried running it on DOSbox?
