It's great to see that commandline-driven non-Linux OSes ("DOS-like") are still actively developed. Whenever I am setting up dedicated (virtual) machines that do not need a GUI I usually think "Linux", but this serves as a welcome reminder that MS-DOS compatible OSes are also an option.
I hope I will find the time to dive into this some more.
Right now I am all into Raspberry Pi systems and while they are probably waaay too modern for these forums, I think running FreeDOS on them might be a good compromise
