Hi all. I've recently bought on ebay an old Sigma Designs Maximizer card for my old IBM PC/XT. (It add 2 serial, a parallel and a game port, 384 kb ram and the clock calendar with battery). It works fine, but I don't have the software to set and retrieve clock and calendar. I tried using AST sixpak software but it doesnt'works. Please, can someone send me the right software for that board, or tell me where I can download it?

Did you try using MS-DOS's DATE and TIME commands?

Yes, of course, but it doesn't works. In orignal IBM PC and XT date and time are resetted to 01-01-1980 and 00:00 every time you boot up the system;this is 'cause, I think, clock and calendar are generated by software. I need the right device software, that every boot can read in the hardware clock of the MAXIMIZER and automatically update clock and calendar of the system.

Here's a link to jumper settings for the card. Hope you can find useful on the page. (Sometimes cards are called something else by the manufacturer but the drivers are the same.)
