I have noticed that some spyware likes to put itself is a hidden folder. A folder so hidden that if you select unhide hidden folders and files it still remains hidden.
What I need is a program that I can use that can show everything on the hard drive. Is there such a program? Windows Exploder really sucks. |

Try opening a command line and typing "dir /a:h /a:s"
Windows hides files marked system. You can turn it on by using "Show protected operating system files."

One more note:
The attrib command will show everything in a directory. If you have A SH set (Archive, System, Hidden) the files will show (if you're showing hidden files), but if you unset archive, they won't. Just figured that out. |
