In my attempts to stablize my aunt's second-hand (ie no books, discs, other documents) computer, I installed Windows 98 on a second primary partition. This is in addition to an existing install of Windows ME.
Currently, I'm the only one who can switch between the two OSes, as it requires changing the active partition through FDISK. I'd like to fix this so she can have access to the software she had (I don't have time to hunt down stray registry entries and copy them over.) by running Windows ME.
Is there a free bootloader that I could install to switch between OSes? I don't want to install a version of Linux as I'd like to keep the computer from being too much more of a mystery to her. |

I'd seen that before, but the problem with it is that it's shareware. I can't guarantee the system will run properly later without any intervention from me. |

I found one that looks to work ok. It's called GAG, which stands for boot loader in spanish (or so they say.) |
