I found a mod that will open links in the SAME window that you're currently viewing rather than opening them in a new window. Is anyone (besides me) interested in having this mod installed?
I absolutely hate it when sites that open links in new windows. |

[x] No.
I like it the way it is. I want to read on the forum and open interesting links in the backgroudn ( read: in a new window ), so I can continue reading and then take a look at that link or so I can jump between that link and the forum. |

You can still do that with links that open in the same window. For Mozilla, Firefox, or Opera, you can hold [shift]+[ctrl] while clicking on the link and it will open in a new tab or window depending on your settings.
I don't know about IE, which will have tabbed browsing as of version 7. |

Now that IE 7 has tabbed browsing, does anyone want to switch to opening links in the same window? |

I'm not a huge fan of that. I run firefox and always make new tabs by either ctrl+click or middle clicking the links on forums or anywhere.
I like to be able to easily navigate back to the start with a simple ctrl+w.
Just my $0.02 |

I like my links to open in a new window because its easier to go back to Uncreative labs when im done with the external link. |
