I remember this commercial...and all the other ones just like it from the early-mid 90s. This was during the overpriced "crap" period at apple that almost put them out of business. Thankfully their computers (and prices) got better...though their arrogant marketing is still annoying. I thought their earlier commercials were much better. |

Some of the current commercials are pretty good. They do exaggerate, but show me a commercial that doesn't and I'll show you an ad writer who hasn't been working long.
What got me was the "Who is Newton?" and "What is Newton?" commercials. They left me confused until I saw the one commercial (with an original message pad) where they actually showed what the Newton could do. 5 years after Teh Steve comes back, and I'm looking for a Newton. |
