I just finished getting my new setup together. Yes it's time for a new desk.

I spend too much time on this rig Crying or Very sad .

BTW My old rig is just visible in the lower left with the keyboard on top of it. I use it mainly for music storage and as a second dvd burner. I also use it to host BF2 and 1942 games for my clan. When not used it's folding proteins for folding at home.

Actually, the desk gives it a little more "mad-scientist" flair to the system. I've got a TV/VCR cart that also sags on top from the weight of a IBM P166 and monitor sitting on top:

I can't post a pic since I'm making a living ATM (I'll do that later). But here's my desk setup....

Apex Outlook 180DX 8 port KVM switch
- Samsung Syncmaster 710MP 17" LCD
- Logitech Optical USB/PS/2 Trackball
- vintage Northgate OmniKey 102 keyboard

Computers on the Switch & Peripherals
--------------------------------------------------------------
GEM Pentium III "Faux Full Sized AT" system
- MIDI (to Behringer V-Amp guitar amp modeler/effects processor for recording), also uses Line-In jack on Soundblaster
- Datel Games N' Music DS Flash card reader (USB)
- V.I.P. 7 Megapixel Digital Camera
- Logitech Web Cam
- Various random game controllers at various times, depending on what I'm playing, including a Steering wheel, USB flight stick, and a plethora of gamepads

GEM 286
- MIDI to my Yamaha PSR-275 keyboard for making MIDI music in Voyetra Sequencer Pro
- Simple Gamepad, usually used for Prince of Persia or Commander Keen

CAT Computers 486/100
- PC Propad 4 Game Pad, usually for Emulators, and a Thrustmaster for X-Wing
- Not an external peripheral, but it has a Packard Bell FM Radio just for giggles

Non-Switched PC's at desk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everex Step Note NC1500 - My main laptop, usually for transferring projects and stuff I've done abroad to the main computer via wireless LAN
- Only thing external is a USB flash drive, game controller, and always the power supply

IBM PC XT 5160 - Used for very very old timer specific DOS games, and showing off......and occasional attempts to learn programming
- IMTEC 14" EGA Color Monitor
- Microsoft Mouse 2.0
- Shares the Line-in with the GEM PIII
- Sometimes an old Kraft Joystick is used for games
- Various SCSI Hard Disks and peripherals I dig up at thrift shops

And of course, everything is networked and connected to the internet, including the XT. With the XT and 286 machines, this is ESSENTIAL for large files, especially in the case of my XT due to the weird floppy drive setup (which relies on a "glitch" in DR-DOS 6 to shovel 1.44MB or less of data at a time to the machine via sneakernet).

Will post picture later

Here's a Panoramic pic of what I see at my desk nearly everday (missing the NES set up to one of the computers also not visible below the desk).
