Dear New caller;

        We understand that this may be viewed as an inconvenience.

        The process of confirming  new registrants has become
very costly and a time-consuming process. The idea of turning the BBS
into a subscription BBS in which callers are charged for joining has been
discounted. Instead we ask that you simply sign this form to confirm that
you have read and will abide by our policies in addition to supplying us with
some form of identification.

        Identification can be a copy of a drivers permit or perhaps a copy
of a phone bill with your name and phone number showing. Feel free to erase any
address information.. we do not need it. If you are a student a photocopy
of your student ID will be fine.

        Please understand that by this process we hope to eliminate the
bogus callers who register under many different names and call so often
that the BBS gets tied up for hours so that the legitimate callers cannot
get through.
