Were it not for being on vacation all week and having been to the grocery store already today (only 8 gallons of milk and 5 loaves of bread left!), I'd probably be more dreadful of it. Checked yesterday's mail and found the newest version of Ubuntu (5.1) in there, so I've got something to tinker with all week. Finally got my external modem working with it (never could get it to work on previous version) and now surfing with FF 1.07. It's somewhat slower than Knoppix (which I still favor) and I'm not sure if I can save the configurations like Knoppix either...
Oh, well. Something to pass snowy days away with (as long as the power hold out anyway)... |
