Tom's built a good userbase, and I'd hate to see the same split that happened to UCL happen to the OCH. As such, I'd like to collect the contact information (usual username and email address) of the users who wish to be contacted should the Obsolete Computer Museum be restored.
You can either reply to this thread, or email me using Puckdropper@yahoo.com please use OCM at the beginning of the subject so I can automagically filter your email into a folder for this. Any email addresses provided for this purpose will not be distributed without permission. |

Well, this certainly doesn't look good...
Just checked to see if my link to the helpline still worked and now FF comes back with: "Firefox can't find the server at www.obsoletecomputermuseum.org."
I fear it's gone for good....
(update @ 1:10 pm 6/5/07):
There's still some mirrors on postings at wayback machine (www.archive.org)...
Perhaps some info on user e-mails could be obtained there.... |

computer.museum@gmail.com is Tom's OCM address. I had another address a while ago but it bounced. |

Several of the users have unofficially moved to an empty forum here:

Good to hear!!!
OCHL has been around a long time (the 1st board I ever posted a message on). It'd be terrible to lose such a resource for good..... |

finally people are posting on the och, I started a thread and made replies on backing up, and cd-r life,.\seems my poste become " long winded" I am sure to hear about it as the thought police sometimes objest. all I can do is check my spelling if that day I can clearly see the screen!
It';s a good forum despite the thought police. |
