Nice, one can attach ground to pin 12 though and only drill for pin 20.
What would happen if I removed the ROM s with DRDos (U43 and U49) would it work as normal with floppy and hdd ?
Anyway the ST-125A with a 40 pin connector RLL ?) that I have only start sometimes and were to find another one I do not know This old one comes from a Nokia machine 21meg. The one which came with the top model of N1200 were 40 meg.
MFMs I have few but that does not help. |

I have a Pentium MMX system with one of those dead Dallas chips, I've been thinking about getting one of those modern replacements that use CR2032 cells but they are a bit expensive just for a battery. Maybe I'll give this a try instead.
Edit: I ended up just buying a modern chip from Glitchworks that uses the coin cells. Installed a socket and dropped it in, works perfectly. |

Yes, that will work, but on this old one I think it is more functions inthe Dallas chip than just battery ? |
